| ...the sun is shining on your face and it’s warm enough to ride in fingerless gloves and a t-shirt. Your bike is purring, as you glide through the back roads and countryside, taking in the aromas of fresh-cut grass and lilacs. You’re feeling a bit over-heated from the sun’s rays, so you pull into the next roadside ice cream stand and order a double-dip cone that immediately starts dripping from the heat of the sun. You find a spot of shade to take a break. As you sit and rest, two bikes pull up beside you and the riders give you a friendly nod. “What a day for riding,” one rider says. “One of the best this year,” you reply. |

| You finish your cone and mount up. The day is dwindling and you must take advantage of the beautiful riding weather. You take the long way home and find a road you hadn’t taken before. Oh, what the heck; it’s still light out, you think. As you round the corner and come to an intersection, there, waiting at the stop sign is another member of your HOG chapter. You pull up beside him and give the “thumbs up”. “Hey Bro, where are you headed?” “I was going to swing by your house and see if you wanted to go riding tomorrow. It’s supposed to be another beautiful one and I thought we could make a day of it. I really enjoyed riding with you last time”. “Sounds like a plan; is 9:00 o.k.?” “Great, I’ll meet you at the end of your road.” As the sun starts to set and the cool night air brushes your face, you think to yourself- -Oh, how I love to ride! ———–————Imagine That! | |
