Occupation: Self-Employed- Custom Cabinet Design, Sales, and Installation
Family: I have one significant other, and I mean SIGNIFICANT !!!, two sons and one daughter.
First bike: I purchased a Kawasaki 750, two stroke screaming machine when I was 20 years old.
Years riding: Since I was 20 years old
How often do you ride: Whenever I can find the time !!!
Who do you ride with: My "SIGNIFICANT OTHER", my HOG friends, and some friends I have had since elementary school.
Where are some of your favorite routes you’ve ridden: The Blue Ridge Parkway including the Skyline Drive. Deals Gap and "The Dragon". My favorite routes are where I can ride with my friends.
Funny situation you had that involved your bike: My first bike !!! Oh what an adventure. I had no training, no one to help me, just an owners manual and whatever courage I could conjour up. I took the bike off my trailer...that's right, I did not know how to ride it, so I trailered it home from the dealer. I was busy sitting on this new machine, reading the owners manual in order to figure out, one at a time, what each lever and control did. Then, I took it for my first ride to K-Mart in Webster. Everything went well until I pulled into a parking space. I felt as though all eyes were on me, watching this beautiful, shining, new bike with its proud owner. And then !!! I applied to much front brake and came to a quick stop, landing on the right side of my new bike.
What’s the most expensive change or repair you’ve made to your bike: I just purchased a new Garmin Zumo GPS with both the bike and the car mount. I bet that I can get lost twice as fast now!!
You could buy another bike, what would your next one be and why: An FXSTSSE2 Sreamin Eagle Softail Springer produced by the CVO group at Harley. The one bike that looks like it is going 100mph sitting on its kickstand. It would be a great bike for Friday night or Bug rides. I would definitely keep my Heritage Softail for most all other riding.
What is your favorite Harley event you’ve attended: I like the state rallies where we all have a chance to spend quality time with our Worcester HOG chapter friends and meet HOG members from not only local New England chapters, but chapters around the world.
What are some of your other interests or hobbies: Machinery and Automotive building and restoring, gardening, ocean boating, and listening to music.
What is your favorite...
Food: Middle east foods
Vacation place: Anywhere by the ocean.
Movie: Christmas Vacation
Recording artist or band: Too many to list - Lots of rock and country
Tune: I did it my way - this has gotten me in trouble a few times
Do you have any pets: Yes, too many !!!! Only kidding !!! Two puppies both about 1 year old, two Siamese cats, one American Tabby, and two black and white "somethin or others"
Tell us about a humorous and embarrassing moment (you’re willing to share): Well, it all happened on a hot summer day. So hot that everyone was very scantily clothed. The wind and surf had picked up without a moments notice when suddenly.........OH, never mind....this might not be the proper place to finish this story!!
Tell us about someone you admire and why: My best friend Ken McBride was the brother that I never had. We shared much together. Kenny was there during a difficult time in my life and brought out the best in me. "God rest Ken"
